Hapless Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDDDEE

Hapless hapless I must beA
All the hours of life I seeA
Since my foolish nurse did onceB
Bed me on her leggen bonesC
Since my mother did not weelD
To snip my nails with blades of steelD
Had they laid me on a pillowD
In a cot of water willowD
Had they bitten finger and thumbE
Not to such ill hap I had comeE
