Hamlet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSQ

Umbrageous cedars murmuring symphoniesA
Stooped in late twilight o'er dark Denmark's PrinceB
He sat his eyes companioned with dreamC
Lustrous large eyes that held the world in viewD
As some entranc d child's a puppet showE
Darkness gave birth to the all trembling starsF
And a far roar of long drawn cataractsG
Flooding immeasurable night with soundH
He sat so still his very thoughts took wingI
And lightest Ariels the stillness hauntedJ
With midge like measures but at last even theyK
Sank 'neath the influences of his nightL
The sweet dust shed faint perfume in the gloomM
Through all wild space the stars' bright arrows fellN
On the lone Prince the troubled son of manO
On Time's dark waters in unearthly troubleP
Then as the roar increased and one fair towerQ
Of cloud took sky and stars with majestyR
He rose his face a parchment of old ageS
Sorrow hath scribbled o'er and o'er and o'erQ
