Grim Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDCECFGHG

Beside the blaze of forty firesA
Giant Grim doth sitB
Roasting a thick woolled mountain sheepC
Upon an iron spitB
Above him wheels the winter skyD
Beneath him fathoms deepC
Lies hidden in the valley mistsE
A village fast asleepC
Save for one restive hungry dogF
That snuffing towards the heightG
Smells Grim's broiled supper meat and spiesH
His watch fire twinkling brightG
