Banquo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNO

What dost thou here far from thy native placeA
What piercing influences of heaven have stirredB
Thy heart's last mansion all corruptible to wakeC
To move and in the sweets of wine and fireD
Sit tempting madness with unholy eyesE
Begone thou shuddering pale anomalyF
The dark presses without on yew and thornG
Stoops now the owl upon her lonely questH
The pomp runs high here and our beauteous womenI
Seek no cold witness O let murder cryJ
Too shrill for human ear only to GodK
Come not in power to wreak so wild a vengeanceL
Thou knowest not now the limit of man's heartM
He is beyond thy knowledge Gaze not thenN
Horror enthroned lit with insanest lightO
