Rhyme Scheme: AAAB CCCB DDDB EEEB

O Logie Kirk amang the braesA
I'm thinkin' o' the merry daysA
Afore I trod thae weary waysA
That led me far frae LogieB
-
Fine do I mind when I was youngC
Abune thy graves the mavis sungC
An' ilka birdie had a tongueC
To ca' me back to LogieB
-
O Logie Kirk tho' aye the sameD
The burn sings ae remembered nameD
There's ne'er a voice to cry Come hameD
To bonnie Bess at LogieB
-
Far far awa' the years declineE
That took the lassie wha was mineE
An' laid her sleepin' lang lang syneE
Amang the braes at LogieB
