Days I Enjoy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJIKLMN

Days I enjoy are days when nothing happensA
When I have no engagements written on my blockB
When no one comes to disturb my inward peaceC
When no one comes to take me away from myselfD
And turn me into a patchwork a jig saw puzzleE
A broken mirror that once gave a whole reflectionF
Being so contrived that it takes too long a timeG
To get myself back to myself when they have goneH
The years are too strickly measured and life too shortI
For me to afford such bits of myself to my friendsJ
And what have I to give my friends in the last resortI
An awkwardness a shyness and a scrapK
No thing that's truly me a bootless wasteL
A waste of myself and them for my life is mineM
And theirs presumably theirs and cannot touchN
