Cupid's Funeral Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABCDEDFD GHGHGH

BY his side whose days are pastA
Lay bow and quiverB
And his eyes that stare aghastA
Close with a shiverB
God nor man from Death at lastA
Love may deliverB
Though of old we vowed my dearC
Death should not take himD
Mourn not thou that we must hereE
Coldly forsake himD
Shed above his grave no tearF
Tears will not wake himD
-
Cupid lieth cold and deadG
Ended his flyingH
Pale his lips once rosy redG
Swift was his dyingH
Place a stone above his headG
Turn away sighingH
