The Weight They Cannot See Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EFGG HHII JJKK LLLL

They call me dramatic too full of painA
As if I chose this endless rainA
They say the sorrow s mine to keepB
That I invite the nights I weepB
-
They claim I built these walls so highC
That I alone shut out the skyC
They think I asked for silence nearD
To turn from crowds to disappearD
-
But if control were truly mineE
I d paint my days with brighter linesF
I d trade the ache for gentle skiesG
And let the sun in my weary eyesG
-
For none would choose a cage of stoneH
Or seek to suffer all aloneH
No heart would wish to bleed this wayI
Or lock itself from light of dayI
-
I walk a road they cannot knowJ
A hidden stream a quiet flowJ
They see the mask but not the fightK
The endless search for even lightK
-
So let them speak let judgment fallL
They do not hear the silent callL
For deep within though faint though smallL
A hope still whispers live through allL
