| To turn from crowds to disappear | D |

| I d paint my days with brighter lines | F |

| And let the sun in my weary eyes | G |

| For none would choose a cage of stone | H |
| Or seek to suffer all alone | H |
| No heart would wish to bleed this way | I |
| Or lock itself from light of day | I |

| I walk a road they cannot know | J |
| A hidden stream a quiet flow | J |
| They see the mask but not the fight | K |
| The endless search for even light | K |

| So let them speak let judgment fall | L |
