The Two Faces Of The World Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGHH

At times I walk with heavy heartA
The world feels cruel it pulls apartA
Its storms are sharp its silence loudB
I stumble beneath its restless crowdB
-
Yes the world is unkind I sayC
Its shadows steal the light awayC
But when I turn another sideD
A gentler truth begins to guideD
-
I see the dawn the tender skiesE
The warmth of love in human eyesE
The world is kind its blessings nearF
A quiet grace that calms my fearF
-
So I confess I once was wrongG
The world holds mercy all alongG
Though sorrow speaks I still can findH
A blessed kindness intertwinedH
