The Two Faces Of The World

At times I walk with heavy heart,
The world feels cruel, it pulls apart.
Its storms are sharp, its silence loud,
I stumble beneath its restless crowd.

Yes, the world is unkind, I say,
Its shadows steal the light away.
But when I turn, another side,
A gentler truth begins to guide.

I see the dawn, the tender skies,
The warmth of love in human eyes.
The world is kind, its blessings near,
A quiet grace that calms my fear.

So I confess, I once was wrong,
The world holds mercy all along.
Though sorrow speaks, I still can find,
A blessed kindness intertwined.
