Lessons Of Loyalty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CDAA EFGG HHII

Life has taught me truths untoldA
that hearts are not a thing to holdA
No matter how kind how deep you careB
not all will return the love you shareB
-
You give your best your soul your timeC
yet echoes fade not all alignD
For meaning to you may weigh like goldA
but to another it may grow coldA
-
Sometimes the ones you cherish mostE
become the shadows you fear the ghostsF
The hands you trusted the eyes you knewG
may turn away betray what s trueG
-
So guard your spirit let wisdom stayH
love with courage but not blind swayH
For loyalty cannot be forced or pressedI
it blooms in freedom and proves the restI
