Woman Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCACDEBC CFEEBBC GGHE IEHGJKL MMGNG OHE CIPLQHE

Like a rose plant that bears flowers all seasonA
Is she to meB
To usC
A white rose so pure beyond perfectionA
she grows among the thronesC
So sharpD
Which at times hurt her to bleedingE
Harder that she cries but only silentlyB
Ask me if I have seen her tearsC
-
No would be my answer But I know she criesC
Late in the night when all is quiteF
On her pillow and in the morningE
When birds start to singE
The day's miseryB
I know she cries for meB
She cries for usC
-
Not because of the thrones that cover herG
Not because of the thrones that pierce herG
She always says 'that's life'H
'All will be okay'E
-
I know some see her as a black rose A rose born of the sun flower plantI
They say she is luckyE
She has stolen all to her selfH
I know this because the winds whisperG
And their cheeks still stained with dark oilJ
It is visible even to the blindK
And they are left carrying heavy hate within themL
-
I can tellM
Everyone can tellM
its them that have planted the thicker thrones that almost cover herG
Growing faster almost to her throatN
They are soon covering herG
-
I know she feels the painO
But all she says 'that's life'H
'All will be okay'E
-
I also know of the red roses once planted on the same roseC
But broke away to the lily plantI
At the sea is where they resideP
Forgetting their past the soils that natured themL
The plant that made them beautifulQ
She still says 'that's life'H
'All will be okay'E
