Woman Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCACDEBC CFEEBBC GGHE IEHGJKL MMGNG OHE CIPLQHELike a rose plant that bears flowers all season | A |
Is she to me | B |
To us | C |
A white rose so pure beyond perfection | A |
she grows among the thrones | C |
So sharp | D |
Which at times hurt her to bleeding | E |
Harder that she cries but only silently | B |
Ask me if I have seen her tears | C |
- | |
No would be my answer But I know she cries | C |
Late in the night when all is quite | F |
On her pillow and in the morning | E |
When birds start to sing | E |
The day's misery | B |
I know she cries for me | B |
She cries for us | C |
- | |
Not because of the thrones that cover her | G |
Not because of the thrones that pierce her | G |
She always says 'that's life' | H |
'All will be okay' | E |
- | |
I know some see her as a black rose A rose born of the sun flower plant | I |
They say she is lucky | E |
She has stolen all to her self | H |
I know this because the winds whisper | G |
And their cheeks still stained with dark oil | J |
It is visible even to the blind | K |
And they are left carrying heavy hate within them | L |
- | |
I can tell | M |
Everyone can tell | M |
its them that have planted the thicker thrones that almost cover her | G |
Growing faster almost to her throat | N |
They are soon covering her | G |
- | |
I know she feels the pain | O |
But all she says 'that's life' | H |
'All will be okay' | E |
- | |
I also know of the red roses once planted on the same rose | C |
But broke away to the lily plant | I |
At the sea is where they reside | P |
Forgetting their past the soils that natured them | L |
The plant that made them beautiful | Q |
She still says 'that's life' | H |
'All will be okay' | E |
