Nostalgia Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAACA AADEEE ACFGDAF HIAJKLM

Far from homeA
Far aloneB
Alone in RomeA
Walking down the aisle at gloamA
Trying to purge myself of every jot of homeA
But it's inherentC
Couldn't help but wallow thinking about homeA
-
Home sweet homeA
Rome's definitely not homeA
The feeling that I wouldn't be going home any soon pricked me off my wits How I wish time was fasterD
But it moved at it's own paceE
Strolling didn't help i walked back to my baseE
Just an apartment with some spaceE
-
Nothing compared to homeA
The quite environmentC
The pain gains of familyF
Mom's tasty delicaciesG
The joy of being with dad mom my little sisterD
The sweet smell of homeA
The smell of the old books in the libraryF
-
The fresh air I sniff in the gardenH
My chat with momI
wow there's a lot I miss from homeA
Don't know how long I'll stay hereJ
I'm optimistic I'll be over thereK
When I can't sayL
Time will tellM
