Last Saturday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMANOPQRS T

That last SaturdayA
When we at last sat downB
Bodies trembling in trepidationC
The lips no wiseD
We held on tight to our coffee cupsE
Shivering in our warm winter coatsF
You see it has taken so long for us to reach where we wereG
The place we say goodbye at lastH
Why goodbye we seem to askI
Eyes seeking answersJ
Lips too heavy to moveK
Did we wait too longL
Were we dead to the stirrings that woke winters agoM
You took my luggage bravelyA
Putting some cash on the table as we walked towards the train of no returnN
You see you were brave and I was notO
I wanted so much but I held backP
Is this truly goodbyeQ
Goodbye to a love unfulfilledR
Or did I imagine you felt sameS
Were we ever on the same trainT
