You and I are children of differend mothers
Yet of a woman
We both speak in our various dialects and styles
But aim for the one heavenly language
We err but still subject to changes
I know my family understand this.
You cry when am in my world smiling
But that doesn't mean I can't feel the pains out there
We are so differend, yet we are one
You are my brother

MY BROTHER
We've known each other quite a long time now
And I still remember how we used to play and do a lot together as kids
Not knowing somedays, somethings will separate us
But it happened, that we made enemies before sunrise

Where as you believe in the sun
I believe in the moon
Where you believe in ablution before praying to divinity
I commune with him beginning with the sign of the cross
Where you believe in robbing another of joy to have joy
I believe we all can find joy inside of us

MY BROTHER
Where you feel you must take another s life to be a winner
I think there's a win in losing too
Where you were born with a golden key to unlock your future
I was born with a diamond palm to write about mine
Where your hand remains firm on the trigger not knowing when to let go, and the people still die
Mine is tight unto the pen calling for a peaceful us
We are so differend
Yet we're one

MY BROTHER
You find joy standing on the pulpit with the word
Forgetting about the frakers in our communities
I find it well living on the street a loner but not all alone
Preaching about unity between confraternities
You are known to sip of the holy ghost to be filled
I draw from liquor my motivation.

I know am nothing to change the divine rule
But it preaches the need for love
So I think I'm divinely led
Not minding the odds you see as I've seen
We are so differend in our philosophy
Yet we're are one
