Antarctic Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABBA DEFGEF

What tale is this which stirs a world of knavesA
Out of its grubbing to throw greasy penceB
Forth to the hat and choke with eloquenceC
In boastful prose and verse of doubtful stavesA
Four men have died gentlemen heroes bravesA
Snows wrap them round eternally From thenceB
They may no more return to life or senseB
And a steel moon aches down on their chill gravesA
-
They died for England It is excellentD
To die for England Death is oft the prizeE
Of him who bears the burden and the loadF
So with a glory let our lives be spentG
We may be noble in the MinoriesE
And die for England in the Camden RoadF
