To Memory Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDC EFFEGGO deeper than the noontide seems when blue | A |
Conceived as of yet finer woof than air | B |
Where as clouds form folk cherished moments rare | B |
Fitfully gleam and pass romance all true | A |
Yet never real enough thou wild deceit | C |
Drug us till we no longer what we are | D |
Love as we loved Reluming star by star | D |
Night falls and tears with thy far glances meet | C |
- | |
Thou dream of dreams which most we can retrieve | E |
And least forget for thee dramatic truth | F |
Drapes in fresh silks the tragedy of youth | F |
Yet as they act our eyes once blind perceive | E |
Much those performers are too fond to note | G |
Till phantom sobs catch in a shrivelled throat | G |
