Hopeless! Despairless! Like That Indian Wise Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCCCDCCDEF

Hopeless Despairless like that Indian wiseA
Free of desire save no desire to knowB
To gain that sweet Nirvana each one triesA
Thinks to assuage soul wearing passion soB
From the white rest the ante natal blissC
Not loth the wondrous wondering soul awakesC
Now drawn to that illusion now to thisC
With gathering strength each devious pathway takesC
Till at the noon of life his aims declineD
Evermore earthward bend the tiring eyesC
Evermore earthward till with no surpriseC
They see Nirvana from Earth's bosom shineD
The still kind mother holds her child againE
In blank desirelessness without a stainF
