Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBDBDBEBEBEFEDGHG IBIBBBBBJDKDLGLGMANA

Ime Pleasd that Heaven hears my cryA
Regards me when I prayB
Ime pleasd in a gratefull JoyC
Will worship every dayB
God heard my voice I escapdB
Tho death had spread his snareD
Tho hell with horrid pleasure gapdB
to be my sepulchreD
when with troubles Ime besettB
again Ile call on theeE
Ah help the wretch that cry's for aidB
My God deliver meE
How Just how gratious is the LordB
How mercyfull is heE
He to the simple help affordsF
Yes he has succourd meE
Then rest my soul secure from fearD
Since he so kind has beenG
Since he has kept my eyes from tearsH
My sliding feet from sinG
Tis he who keeps me living stillI
when sore vext I crydB
Since mankind is as weak as illI
In him I must confideB
How shall I then the God rewardB
Who did my all bestowB
To pray thank praise thee LordB
Is all that I can doB
In publick will I pay my vowsJ
tell thy mercy's oreD
Tell how our lives are preciousK
to thee whom we adoreD
Behold me Lord for I am thineL
My parents so have beenG
Behold me Lord for thou art mineL
By thee I'me freed from sinG
Then all shall hear my ready tongueM
Extoll thy name on highA
That all by my example wonN
May praise as well as IA
