Prop: 2, L: 11 E: Quicunque &c Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Vast was his soul some favorite aboveA
Whose bolder pencil made a boy of loveA
A boy he thought him lovers less then boyesB
Who barter all things for a crop of toyesB
He wisely too his roving pow'r bestowdC
in unconstant feathers drest the GodC
for now we love anon we hate ye sameD
Fantastick passion varyes all extreamsB
Justly he drew him for his play things dartsB
The little wanton sports with bleeding heartsB
Justly he drew them to my cost Ive foundC
Unseen they fly still secure to woundC
his arms younger follys fill my heartC
But he has lost or hid his better partC
His wings no more their heav'nly burthen bearE
He sitts an everlasting trouble hereF
My bloud he fires torments my wretched breastC
Drains all my bones robs my soul of restC
Cease cruell master fly to fuller veinesB
Your slave is wasted with incessant painsB
Imploy your force on something I alasB
Am but the shadow of the man I wasB
Why shoud I dy who live but for your useB
to your part debauch the virgin museB
Who write of nought but arrows flames eyesB
sing your brightest servants to the skyesB
