On The Number Three Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDEFFAAGGFFHI

Beauty rests not in one fix'd PlaceA
But seems to reign in every FaceA
'Tis nothing sure but Fancy thenB
In various Forms bewitching MenB
Or is it Shape and Colour fram'dC
Proportion just and woman nam'dC
If Fancy only rul'd in LoveD
Why shou'd it then so strongly moveE
Or why shou'd all that Look agreeF
To own its mighty Pow'r in threeF
In Three it shews a different FaceA
Each shining with peculiar GraceA
Kindred a Native Likeness givesG
Which pleases as in All it livesG
And where the Features disagreeF
We praise the dear VarietyF
Then Beauty surely ne'er was yetH
So much unlike it self and so completeI
