On Mrs. Ar: F: Leaving London Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAACDEDFGHIHJKLKMLK

From Town fair Arabella fliesA
The Beaux unpowder'd grieveB
The Rivers play before her eyesA
The Breezes softly breathing riseA
The Spring begins to liveC
Her Lovers swore they must expireD
Yet quickly find their EaseE
For as she goes their Flames retireD
Love thrives before a nearer fireF
Esteem by distant RaysG
Yet soon the Fair one will returnH
When Summer quits the PlainI
Ye Rivers pour the weeping UrnH
Ye Breezes sadly sighing mournJ
Ye Lovers burn againK
'Tis constancy enough in LoveL
That Nature's fairly shewnK
To search for more will fruitless proveM
Romances and the Turtle DoveL
The Virtue boast aloneK
