On A Lady With A Foul Breath Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEFGHIIJJKKLLMM NNKOPPQQRRJJ

Art thou alive It cannot beA
There's so much Rottenness in TheeA
Corruption only is in DeathB
And what's more Putrid than thy BreathB
Think not you Live because you SpeakC
For Graves such hollow Sounds can makeD
And Respiration can't sufficeE
For Vapours do from Caverns riseF
From Thee such noisom Stenches comeG
Thy Mouth betrays thy Breast a TombH
Thy Body is a Corpse that goesI
By Magick rais'd from its ReposeI
A Pestilence that walks by DayJ
But falls at Night to Worms and ClayJ
But I will to my Chloris runK
Who will not let me be undoneK
The Sweets her Virgin Breath containsL
Are fitted to remove my PainsL
There will I healing Nectar sipM
And to be sav'd approach her LipM
Tho' if I touch the matchless DameN
I'm sure to burn with inward FlameN
Thus when I wou'd one Danger shunK
I'm strait upon another thrownO
I seek a Cure one Sore to easeP
Yet in that Cure's a New DiseaseP
But Love tho' fatal still can blessQ
And greater Dangers hide the lessQ
I'll go where Passion bids me flyR
And chuse my Death since I must DyeR
As Doves pursu'd by Birds of PreyJ
Venture with milder Man to stayJ
