Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFGHIIJJKLCC CJJMMNO

Arise my soul hast awayA
Thy god doth call canst thou stayA
Thee to his table he invitesB
To tast of heavenly delightsB
He sufferd death to sett thee freeC
From sin canst thou slothfull beC
To serve him should he for it callD
Thy life would be a gift too smallD
But he desires to make it BlestE
And now Invites thee to a feastF
A feast of the divinest foodG
A feast of our own saviours flesh bloodH
For shame dull sluggish soul ariseI
Wilt thou so great a good despiseI
You'de earthly kings obey with prideJ
is ye king of heav'n deni'deJ
Thou know'st not what this act doth meanK
Or would'st not sure be Backward thenL
The god who all has made tis heC
Invites so base a worm as theeC
wilt thou then ungratefull beC
No Ld I come be thou kindJ
In mercy to me wretchd blindJ
The way thou must not onely shewM
But give me eyes to find it tooM
Each step I take yn to thy holy placeN
Ile utter Halelujahs to thy praiseO
