Where Is Your Dwelling, Ye Sainted? (air.--hasse.) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHGHGCGI JKJLAECE

Where is your dwelling ye SaintedA
Thro' what Elysium more brightB
Than fancy or hope ever paintedC
Walk ye in glory and lightB
Who the same kingdom inheritsD
Breathes there a soul that may dareE
Look to that world of SpiritsF
Or hope to dwell with you thereE
-
Sages who even in exploringG
Nature thro' all her bright waysH
Went like the Seraphs adoringG
And veiled your eyes in the blazeH
Martyrs who left for our reapingG
Truths you had sown in your bloodC
Sinners whom long years of weepingG
Chastened from evil to goodI
-
Maidens who like the young CrescentJ
Turning away your pale browsK
From earth and the light of the PresentJ
Looked to your Heavenly SpouseL
Say thro' what region enchantedA
Walk ye in Heaven's sweet airE
Say to what spirits 'tis grantedC
Bright souls to dwell with you thereE
