To Julia. On Her Birthday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE

When Time was entwining the garland of yearsA
Which to crown my beloved was givenB
Though some of the leaves might be sullied with tearsC
Yet the flowers were all gathered in heavenB
-
And long may this garland be sweet to the eyeD
May its verdure forever be newE
Young Love shall enrich it with many a sighD
And Sympathy nurse it with dewE
