Tis The Last Rose Of Summer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGF HIJIAKHK LMNMOBPB

Tis the last rose of summerA
Left blooming aloneB
All her lovely companionsC
Are faded and goneD
No flower of her kindredE
No rose bud is nighF
To reflect back her blushesG
Or give sigh for sighF
-
I'll not leave thee thou lone oneH
To pine on the stemI
Since the lovely are sleepingJ
Go sleep thou with themI
Thus kindly I scatterA
Thy leaves o'er the bedK
Where thy mates of the gardenH
Lie scentless and deadK
-
So soon may I followL
When friendships decayM
And from Love's shining circleN
The gems drop awayM
When true hearts lie wither'dO
And fond ones are flownB
Oh who would inhabitP
This bleak world aloneB
