There Comes A Time. (german Air.) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGHGIJKJ

There comes a time a dreary timeA
To him whose heart hath flownB
O'er all the fields of youth's sweet primeA
And made each flow its ownB
'Tis when his soul must first renounceC
Those dreams so bright so fondD
Oh then's the time to die at onceE
For life has naught beyondD
-
When sets the sun on Afric's shoreF
That instant all is nightG
And so should life at once be o'erH
When Love withdraws his lightG
Nor like our northern day gleam onI
Thro' twilight's dim delayJ
The cold remains of lustre goneK
Of fire long past awayJ
