The Tear Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFCF

On beds of snow the moonbeam sleptA
And chilly was the midnight gloomB
When by the damp grave Ellen weptA
Fond maid it was her Lindor's tombB
-
A warm tear gushed the wintry airC
Congealed it as it flowed awayD
All night it lay an ice drop thereC
At morn it glittered in the rayD
-
An angel wandering from her sphereE
Who saw this bright this frozen gemF
To dew eyed Pity brought the tearC
And hung it on her diademF
