The Kiss Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFFEGHGHII

Grow to my lip thou sacred kissA
On which my soul's beloved sworeB
That there should come a time of blissA
When she would mock my hopes no moreB
And fancy shall thy glow renewC
In sighs at morn and dreams at nightD
And none shall steal thy holy dewC
Till thou'rt absolved by rapture's riteD
Sweet hours that are to make me blestE
Fly swift as breezes to the goalF
And let my love my more than soulF
Come blushing to this ardent breastE
Then while in every glance I drinkG
The rich overflowing of her mindH
Oh let her all enamored sinkG
In sweet abandonment resignedH
Blushing for all our struggles pastI
And murmuring I am thine at lastI
