The Gazelle Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAB CBCBCB DEDEDE FDFDFD

Dost thou not hear the silver bellA
Thro' yonder lime trees ringingB
'Tis my lady's light gazelleA
To me her love thoughts bringingB
All the while that silver bellA
Around his dark neck ringingB
-
See in his mouth he bears a wreathC
My love hath kist in tyingB
Oh what tender thoughts beneathC
Those silent flowers are lyingB
Hid within the mystic wreathC
My love hath kist in tryingB
-
Welcome dear gazelle to theeD
And joy to her the fairestE
Who thus hath breathed her soul to meD
In every leaf thou bearestE
Welcome dear gazelle to theeD
And joy to her the fairestE
-
Hail ye living speaking flowersF
That breathe of her who bound yeD
Oh 'twas not in fields or bowersF
'Twas on her lips she found yeD
Yes ye blushing speaking flowersF
'Twas on her lips she found yeD
