The Fancy Fair Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABB CBCBB DBDBB EBEBB FBFBB

Come maids and youths for here we sellA
All wondrous things of earth and airB
Whatever wild romancers tellA
Or poets sing or lovers swearB
You'll find at this our Fancy FairB
-
Here eyes are made like stars to shineC
And kept for years in such repairB
That even when turned of thirty nineC
They'll hardly look the worse for wearB
If bought at this our Fancy FairB
-
We've lots of tears for bards to showerD
And hearts that such ill usage bearB
That tho' they're broken every hourD
They'll still in rhyme fresh breaking bearB
If purchased at our Fancy FairB
-
As fashions change in every thingE
We've goods to suit each season's airB
Eternal friendships for the springE
And endless loves for summer wearB
All sold at this our Fancy FairB
-
We've reputations white as snowF
That long will last if used with careB
Nay safe thro' all life's journey goF
If packed and marked as brittle wareB
Just purchased at the Fancy FairB
