Remember The Time. (the Castilian Maid.) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBC BBBBDEFG

Remember the time in La Mancha's shadesA
When our moments so blissfully flewB
When you called me the flower of Castilian maidsA
And I blushed to be called so by youB
When I taught you to warble the gay seguadilleB
And to dance to the light castanetC
Oh never dear youth let you roam where you willB
The delight of those moments forgetC
-
They tell me you lovers from Erin's green isleB
Every hour a new passion can feelB
And that soon in the light of some lovelier smileB
You'll forget the poor maid of CastileB
But they know not how brave in battle you areD
Or they never could think you would roveE
For 'tis always the spirit most gallant in warF
That is fondest and truest in LoveG
