Odes Of Anacreon - Ode Xlv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDAAEEFFAA

Within this goblet rich and deepA
I cradle all my woes to sleepA
Why should we breathe the sigh of fearB
Or pour the unavailing tearC
For death will never heed the sighD
Nor soften at the tearful eyeD
And eyes that sparkle eyes that weepA
Must all alike be sealed in sleepA
Then let us never vainly strayE
In search of thorns from pleasure's wayE
But wisely quaff the rosy waveF
Which Bacchus loves which Bacchus gaveF
And in the goblet rich and deepA
Cradle our crying woes to sleepA
