Odes Of Anacreon - Ode Xii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDEEFFGGHHII

They tell how Atys wild with loveA
Roams the mount and haunted groveB
Cvbele's name he howls aroundC
The gloomy blast returns the soundC
Oft too by Claros' hallowed springD
The votaries of the laurelled kingD
Quaff the inspiring magic streamE
And rave in wild prophetic dreamE
But frenzied dreams are not for meF
Great Bacchus is my deityF
Full of mirth and full of himG
While floating odors round me swimG
While mantling bowls are full suppliedH
And you sit blushing by my sideH
I will be mad and raving tooI
Mad my girl with love for youI
