Odes Of Anacreon - Ode Lxxv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABBCCDDEEEE

Spirit of Love whose locks unrolledA
Stream on the breeze like floating goldA
Come within a fragrant cloudA
Blushing with light thy votary shroudA
And on those wings that sparkling playB
Waft oh waft me hence awayB
Love my soul is full of theeC
Alive to all thy luxuryC
But she the nymph for whom I glowD
The lovely Lesbian mocks my woeD
Smiles at the chill and hoary huesE
That time upon my forehead strewsE
Alas I fear she keeps her charmsE
In store for younger happier armsE
