Methinks the pictured bull we seeB
Is amorous Jove it must be heB
How fondly blest he seems to bearC
That fairest of Phoenician fairC
How proud he breasts the foamy tideD
And spurns the billowy surge asideD
Could any beast of vulgar veinE
Undaunted thus defy the mainE
No he descends from climes aboveF
He looks the God he breathes of JoveF
