How Dear To Me The Hour Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

How dear to me the hour when daylight diesA
And sunbeams melt along the silent seaB
For then sweet dreams of other days ariseA
And memory breathes her vesper sigh to theeB
-
And as I watch the line of light that playsC
Along the smooth wave toward the burning westD
I long to tread that golden path of raysC
And think 'twould lead to some bright isle of restD
