Fanny, Dearest Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDFGHGH GHGHIJIKLMLM

Yes had I leisure to sigh and mournA
Fanny dearest for thee I'd sighB
And every smile on my cheek should turnC
To tears when thou art nighB
But between love and wine and sleepD
So busy a life I liveE
That even the time it would take to weepD
Is more than my heart can giveF
Then bid me not to despair and pineG
Fanny dearest of all the dearsH
The Love that's ordered to bathe in wineG
Would be sure to take cold in tearsH
-
Reflected bright in this heart of mineG
Fanny dearest thy image liesH
But ah the mirror would cease to shineG
If dimmed too often with sighsH
They lose the half of beauty's lightI
Who view it through sorrow's tearJ
And 'tis but to see thee truly brightI
That I keep my eye beam clearK
Then wait no longer till tears shall flowL
Fanny dearest the hope is vainM
If sunshine cannot dissolve thy snowL
I shall never attempt it with rainM
