Echo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB CDCCD EFGEF

How sweet the answer Echo makesA
To music at nightB
When roused by lute or horn she wakesA
And far away o'er lawns and lakesA
Goes answering lightB
-
Yet Love hath echoes truer farC
And far more sweetD
Than e'er beneath the moonlight's starC
Of horn or lute or soft guitarC
The songs repeatD
-
'Tis when the sigh in youth sincereE
And only thenF
The sigh that's breathed for one to hearG
Is by that one that only dearE
Breathed back againF
