Believe Me, If All Those Endearing Young Charms Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEGHIHJ

Believe me if all those endearing young charmsA
Which I gaze on so fondly to dayB
Were to change by to morrow and fleet in my armsA
Live fairy gifts fading awayB
Thou wouldst still be adored as this moment thou artC
Let thy loveliness fade as it willD
And around the dear ruin each wish of my heartC
Would entwine itself verdantly stillD
-
It is not while beauty and youth are thine ownE
And thy cheeks unprofaned by a tearF
That the fervor and faith of a soul may be knownE
To which time will but make thee more dearG
No the heart that has truly loved never forgetsH
But as truly loves on to the closeI
As the sunflower turns on her god when he setsH
The same look which she turned when he roseJ
