Thoughts Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABABCDCDCDEE

Sweet are the thoughts that haunt the poet s brainA
Like rainbow fringed clouds through which some starB
Peeps in bright glory on a shepherd swainA
They sweep along and trance him sweeter farB
Than incense trailing up an out stretched chainA
From rocking censer sweeter too they areB
Than the thin mist which rises in the galeC
From out the slender cowslip s bee scarred breastD
Their delicate pinions buoy up a taleC
Like brittle wings which curtain in the vestD
Of cobweb limbed ephemera that sailC
In gauzy mantle of dun twilight dressedD
Borne on the wind s soft sighings when the springE
Listens all evening to its whisperingE
