The Last Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHFECIH

By heaven and hell and all the fools between themA
I will not die nor sleep nor wink my eyesB
But think myself into a god old DeathC
Shall dream he has slain me and I'll creep behind himD
Thrust off the bony tyrant from his throneE
And beat him into dust Or I will burstF
Damnation's iron egg my tomb and comeG
Half damned ere they make lightning of my soulH
And creep into thy carcase as thou sleepestF
Between two crimson fevers I'll dethroneE
The empty skeleton and be thy deathC
A death of grinding madness Fear me nowI
I am a devil not a human soulH
