Unrealized Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EDFD GDHD IDJD KDLD MDND

Down comes the winter rainA
Spoils my hat and bowB
Runs into the poll of meC
But mother won't knowD
-
We've been out and caught a coldE
Knee deep in snowD
Such a lucky thing it isF
That mother won't knowD
-
Rosy lost herself last nightG
Couldn't tell where to goD
Yes it rather frightened herH
But mother didn't knowD
-
Somebody made Willy drunkI
At the Christmas showD
O 'twas fun It's well for himJ
That mother won't knowD
-
Howsoever wild we areK
Late at school or slowD
Mother won't be cross with usL
Mother won't knowD
-
How we cried the day she diedM
Neighbours whispering lowD
But we now do what we willN
Mother won't knowD
