To Sincerity Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BBB CCC BBB DDD BBB A

O sweet sincerityA
Where modern methods beA
What scope for thine and theeA
-
Life may be sad past sayingB
Its greens for ever grayingB
Its faiths to dust decayingB
-
And youth may have foreknown itC
And riper seasons shown itC
But custom cries Disown itC
-
Say ye rejoice though grievingB
Believe while unbelievingB
Behold without perceivingB
-
Yet would men look at true thingsD
And unilluded view thingsD
And count to bear undue thingsD
-
The real might mend the seemingB
Facts better their foredeemingB
And Life its disesteemingB
-
FebruaryA
