The Background And The Figure - Lover's Ditty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EBEB

I think of the slope where the rabbits fedA
Of the periwinks' rockwork lairB
Of the fuchsias ringing their bells of redA
And the something else seen thereB
-
Between the blooms where the sod basked brightC
By the bobbing fuchsia treesD
Was another and yet more eyesome sightC
The sight that richened theseD
-
I shall seek those beauties in the springE
When the days are fit and fairB
But only as foils to the one more thingE
That also will flower thereB
