Her Reproach Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Con the dead page as 'twere live love press onA
Cold wisdom's words will ease thy track for theeB
Aye go cast off sweet ways and leave me wanA
To biting blasts that are intent on meB
But if thy object Fame's far summits beB
Whose inclines many a skeleton o'erliesC
That missed both dream and substance stop and seeC
How absence wears these cheeks and dims these eyesC
It surely is far sweeter and more wiseC
To water love than toil to leave anonA
A name whose glory gleam will but adviseC
Invidious minds to quench it with their ownA
And over which the kindliest will but stayD
A moment musing He too had his dayD
