At The Wicket-gate Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHCJKJ

There floated the sounds of church chimingA
But no one was nighB
Till there came as a break in the lonenessC
Her father she IB
And we slowly moved on to the wicketD
And downlooking stoodE
Till anon people passed and amid themF
We parted for goodE
-
Greater wiser may part there than we threeG
Who parted there thenH
But never will Fates colder featuredI
Hold sway there againH
Of the churchgoers through the still meadowsC
No single one knewJ
What a play was played under their eyes thereK
As thence we withdrewJ
