At The Railway Station, Upway Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDAB CAEFGHHIIDD

There is not much that I can doA
For I've no money that's quite my ownB
Spoke up the pitying childC
A little boy with a violinD
At the station before the train came inD
But I can play my fiddle to youA
And a nice one 'tis and good in toneB
-
The man in the handcuffs smiledC
The constable looked and he smiled tooA
As the fiddle began to twangE
And the man in the handcuffs suddenly sangF
UproariouslyG
This life so freeH
Is the thing for meH
And the constable smiled and said no wordI
As if unconscious of what he heardI
And so they went on till the train came inD
The convict and boy with the violinD
