A Wet Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CCCC CDECCE

I pace along the rain shafts riddling meA
Mile after mile out by the moorland wayB
And up the hill and through the ewe leaze grayB
Into the lane and round the corner treeA
-
Where as my clothing clams me mire bestarredC
And the enfeebled light dies out of dayC
Leaving the liquid shades to reign I sayC
This is a hardship to be calendaredC
-
Yet sires of mine now perished and forgotC
When worse beset ere roads were shapen hereD
And night and storm were foes indeed to fearE
Times numberless have trudged across this spotC
In sturdy muteness on their strenuous lotC
And taking all such toils as trifles mereE
